Week 1: Introduction to Self Defence

Overview of self-defence principles -Discussion of common scenarios faced by individuals in need of self-defence.

The purpose and goals of self-defence

Practical: Warm up, learning the basics of punches, kicks, and blocks -Practicing strikes and blocks in various scenarios

Demonstrate basic physical techniques for self-defence -Practice physical techniques for self-defence

Week 2: Personal and Mental Awareness

Learning how to be aware of one’s surroundings -Learning how to trust one’s instincts.

Ground Self Defense -Learning how to defend oneself on the ground -Practicing ground self defense techniques

Weapon Defense -Learning the basics of weapon defense

-Practicing weapon defense techniques. How to defend against knife attack, a club attack, bottle etc. Use of basic tools like umbrella, mobile phone, pen, paper sprays to defend yourself

Week 7: Weapon Defence Cont.

Weapon Defense -Learning the basics of weapon defense

-Practicing weapon defense techniques. How to defend against knife attack, a club attack, bottle etc. Use of basic tools like umbrella, mobile phone, pen, paper sprays to defend oneself

-Learning how to escape dangerous situations

-Practicing escape and evasion techniques
