What We Teach
We Teach Karate, Taekwondo, Judo & Hapkido for Kids
Our martial arts training for kids combines elements of Karate, Taekwondo, Judo and Hapkido. The focus of our martial arts training for kids is on developing physical and mental discipline, self-defence skills, and a positive and confident mindset. The training includes a variety of techniques such as kicks, punches, joint locks, throws, and forms (pre-arranged sequences of movements).
Safety
Safety is paramount in all our martial arts training for kids. We ensure kids are safe while practising moves with trainers and with each other. We also encourage the use of protective equipment at all times while practising martial arts.
How We Teach
Strengthening both the body and the mind
We believe every child can achieve their full potential with the right support, environment and nurture. Our martial arts training for kids keeps in mind that kids aren’t the same. They are of different ages, with different capabilities and strengths. Our teaching methods seeks to meet every child at the point of need both with one-on-one trainings and with group sessions.
Most of our lessons happen in group settings. We also offer one-on-one classes at home, at a gym of your choice or at our premises. Often we recommend that kids train in a group session to help them learn from one another and have fun together.
Curriculum
Starting with the basics to more advanced lessons
Our martial arts training for kids curriculum starts with the basics of martial arts. In the basics, we teach common techniques in all martial arts, i.e punches, blocks, kicks, throws and grappling. Thereafter, we teach kids martial arts techniques that help them become stronger mentally and physically with technique combination sequences and formations. Martial arts training for kids helps build concentration and patience helping them excel further academically and in other spheres.
Also, from the very onset, we also emphasise on safety and discipline. The training we offer kids is primarily for self-defence purposes and to boost one’s confidence.

Single sessions are charged at 2,500/= a session. All costs are in Kenya Shillings. For best results, we recommend two weekday classes and one weekend class i.e. Three classes a week.
Uniforms & Equipment
For safety and effective training
It’s important to have the full martial arts uniform (We call it dobok) when training for martial arts. First and foremost, the martial arts uniform instils an attitude of humility in children. Secondly, during training, it’s easier to grab, throw and grapple more safely with a uniform than without. In Nairobi, we work with main partners for uniforms; Decathlon and Kicks International.
Protective gear equipment is also important when training. As your kid advances in martial arts capability, we recommend having headgear, a set of gloves, a chest guard, shin guards and a mouth guard. Practice targets are also nice to have.
